🇬🇧…Ruins of Gede
See the ruins of the ancient city of Gede with me 😃 At the end of July 2024, this valuable archaeological site was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List ☺ the city was founded at the turn of the 11th and 12th centuries, probably by wealthy Arabs from Malindi, who lived here together with the Swahili population until the 17th century, when the city was abandoned. In its greatest splendor, the city was an important trade center, conducting sea trade with Venice, China and Spain, as evidenced by objects found in the excavation sites now placed in a small museum. The city ruins are inhabited by friendly monkeys, for whom I will prepare bananas so that they can get to know us better 😀 the local guide will show you around the ruins, tell you where the mosques were, where the palace was, where the houses of rich Arabs were and where the Swahili people were, wells, bathrooms, etc. 😄 and all this among old baobabs and other beautiful trees that swallowed the depopulated city ❤❤ the price includes transport, an entrance ticket, a guide to the ruins and bananas for the monkeys. A trip to the Gede ruins can be combined with Marafa Hells Kitchen, sightseeing in Malindi and Robinson Island.

Zobacz ze mną ruiny starożytnego miasta Gede 😃 Pod koniec lipca 2024 roku to cenne stanowisko archeologiczne zostało wpisane na listę światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO ☺ miasto powstało na przełomie XI i XII wieku, założyli je prawdopodobnie bogaci Arabowie z Malindi, którzy mieszkali tu razem z ludnością Suahili do XVII w, kiedy to miasto zostało opuszczone. W największej świetności miasto było ważnym ośrodkiem handlowym, prowadziło handel morski z Wenecją, Chinami czy Hiszpanią o czym świadczą znalezione przedmioty na terenach wykopalisk umieszczone obecnie w niewielkim muzeum.
Obecne w ruinach miasta mieszkają sympatyczne małpki, dla których przygotuję banany, by mogły się lepiej z nami poznać 😀 lokalny przewodnik natomiast oprowadzi was po ruinach, opowie gdzie znajdowały się meczety, gdzie pałac, gdzie domy bogatych Arabów a gdzie ludności Suahili, studnie, łazienki, itp. 😄 a wszystko to wśród starych baobabów i innych pięknych drzew, które pochłonęły wyludnione miasto ❤❤ w cenie oferuje dojazd, bilet wstępu, przewodnika po ruinach i banany dla małpek. Wycieczkę do ruin Gede można połączyć z Marafa Hells Kitchen, zwiedzaniem Malindi i Wyspą Robinson.

Vedi con me le rovine dell’antica città di Gede 😃 A fine luglio 2024, questo prezioso sito archeologico è stato inserito nella Lista del Patrimonio Mondiale dell’UNESCO ☺ la città fu fondata a cavallo tra l’XI e il XII secolo, probabilmente da ricchi arabi di Malindi, che vissero qui insieme alla popolazione swahili fino al XVII secolo, quando la città fu abbandonata. Nel suo massimo splendore, la città era un importante centro commerciale, conducendo commerci via mare con Venezia, Cina e Spagna, come testimoniano gli oggetti rinvenuti nei siti di scavo ora collocati in un piccolo museo. Le rovine della città sono abitate da amichevoli scimmie, per le quali preparerò delle banane in modo che possano conoscerci meglio 😀 la guida locale vi mostrerà le rovine, vi dirà dove si trovavano le moschee, dove si trovava il palazzo, dove si trovavano le case dei ricchi arabi e dove si trovavano gli swahili, pozzi, bagni, ecc. 😄 e tutto questo tra vecchi baobab e altri bellissimi alberi che hanno inghiottito la città spopolata ❤❤ il prezzo include il trasporto, un biglietto d’ingresso, una guida alle rovine e le banane per le scimmie. Voyez avec moi les ruines de l’ancienne ville de Gede 😃 Fin juillet 2024, ce précieux site archéologique a été inscrit sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO ☺ la ville a été fondée au tournant des XIe et XIIe siècles, probablement par de riches Arabes de Malindi, qui a vécu ici avec la population swahili jusqu’au XVIIe siècle, date à laquelle la ville a été abandonnée. À son apogée, la ville était un centre commercial important, effectuant des échanges maritimes avec Venise, la Chine et l’Espagne, comme en témoignent les objets trouvés sur les sites de fouilles aujourd’hui abrités dans un petit musée. Les ruines de la ville sont habitées par de sympathiques singes, pour qui je préparerai des bananes pour qu’ils puissent mieux nous connaître 😀 le guide local vous montrera les ruines, vous indiquera où se trouvaient les mosquées, où se trouvait le palais , où se trouvaient les maisons des riches Arabes et où se trouvaient les swahilis, les puits, les bains, etc. 😄 et tout ça parmi les vieux baobabs et autres beaux arbres qui ont englouti la ville dépeuplée ❤❤ le prix comprend le transport, un billet d’entrée, un guide des ruines et des bananes pour les singes.
